Common questions
Most of our scans are fully bulk billed with a valid Medicare card. The exception to this is our specialised scans.
We proudly offer bulk billing on most services, because cost shouldn't hold you back from investigating your health. The only exceptions are Calcium Scoring, DEXA and Obstetric Ultrasound, which is payable at your appointment, but may be claimable through your private insurance. Rest assured our team will inform you of any out of pocket cost before your appointment.
Only two specialised scans are not bulk billed: Calcium Scoring and Obstetric Ultrasound. If you’re booked in for one of these, we’ll give you the exact fee upfront.
Payment is made on the day of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, credit card and cash. If you have private health insurance, we’ll give you an invoice to submit your claim.
Your scans will be sent directly to your referring doctor, who will take you through the findings. Unfortunately, we’re unable to discuss results with you – but we’ll guide you through the whole process.
We know you’re keen to get your results, so we aim to send your report to your referring doctor within two business days. Just make an appointment with your doctor to go over your results, and discuss next steps.
Yes – we’ll provide a detailed invoice so you can claim directly with your private health fund after your appointment.
Bring along your Medicare card, your referral from your doctor or specialist, and any previous imaging results that might be relevant.
Absolutely. We believe in transparency, so you’ll always know your exact fee – if there is one – before you arrive.
