A Holter monitor is a portable device used for a type of ambulatory electrocardiography (ECG or EKG) that continuously records the heart’s electrical activity over an extended period, typically 24 to 48 hours. This test is known as a Holter monitor test, and it helps healthcare professionals evaluate the heart’s electrical patterns during a person’s regular daily activities. Holter monitor tests are particularly useful in diagnosing intermittent or sporadic heart rhythm abnormalities that may not be present during a standard ECG. The recorded data is later analyzed by a healthcare professional to identify any irregularities in the heart’s electrical activity. This information can aid in the diagnosis and management of various heart conditions, such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, and other rhythm disorders.

From my first contact with this company I had a good feeling. The guy on the phone (sorry didn’t catch his name) was polite, helpful, answered all my questions and was able to get us in urgently. On arrival at the facility, again staff were attentive and friendly. What a breath of fresh air. I wish they could sprinkle some of their ‘happy dust’ on most other medical clinics. It’s so rare to have such a positive experience from beginning to end. Someone needs to recognise these employees and thank them for representing the company so well.
